Overdrive

This is a great thing for those that listen to books on audio. I haven't tried one yet but I am thinking about it. I can't go without falling asleep when I get a book but if I listen to it maybe it will not put me to sleep. It's even portable. You can listen to it in your car or at home. It can't get no better.

Podcast

I didn't get the activity to much. I have explored itune and also have it on my computer at home. I am not sure what to do with it but I have it.

You too can Youtube

This is one of my favorite songs and I thought this little girl sang it so cute. I listen to this song every day because you have to "Encourage yourself" to make it through the day.

Web 2.0 Awards

I went to Youtube.com which won first place in the video catagory. You tube has every kind of video you can possible find. If you want to see a certain dance you can find people doing it. If you want to see a tv series you missed you can find it on this site. There are something that should not be on here because all sites are for children's eyes. This site for the Web 2.0 awards is a good site.

This wasn't the best exercise we have done. I think that this is something I wont use in the future.

I am not sure if Wiki is for me. I didn't really get what is the importance of Wiki. I didn't find to much interesting in Wiki.

I thought it would be more to it. You can just look up things by one word and then they have a list of things pop up. I found this to be easy due to me working in the library.

This is something new. I really enjoyed this lesson. I will be using this to add to my web page and also other things. I used the comic strip generator and just added text to the image. I don't know where people come up with different things when working with the computers. Computers are getting more complexed and more exciting when you find out what you can really do on the internet.

RSS Feeds

I never knew what RSS meant until this exercise came out. I think it is very interesting and different. I think copying the sites URL is much easier because I don't know to much about RSS. I have used URL's to link people to my online pages but never the RSS. These exercises are getting more and more interesting. They really put your mind into the world of computers.

Technology

Techonology now a days are just so great. They are so wonderful that little kids can do them. When I was a child we had no technology. There was the phone and that was it. Now we have cellular phones, computers, fax machines, copiers and so on. My 3yr old daughter can do her own thing on the computer because they teach her in daycare. What can get better than that? One day she will be teaching me something I never knew and I have a Bachelors in Computers. In about another years from now, if you know nothing about computers or don't even know how to turn on a computer you will be in the stoneage about things. computers are taking over the world and everyone needs to get with it. I think libraries should have computer training classes for the public like once a month. There are alot of people out there that know nothing about computers.

My future librarians

I really enjoyed creating a trading card for the blog. It was very different. I used a picture of my kids and called them the future librarians.

This was very fun for me. I know alot about computers but I didn't know alot about creating blogs.

Ben & Jerry's Sexy Cat

I found this photo to be unique and interesting. They have this cool, sexy cat in the scene of Ben & Jerry's ice cream. Now knowing that cats love milk this is one I would have never thought of. You also have this cow in the back like he just producted the milk that made the ice cream. The picture is colorful and it draws your eyes right in like it was on a 3-d screen. This picture would be very interesting if the cat was moving around. Like doing a Ben & Jerry dance.

This person that posted this picture is very creative and views the aspect of the Milk product as well as ice ceam. I was drawn into it because I went to school for Computer Animation and it just remind me of an animation project.

Which habit among the 7&1/2 that is easiest for you and which is hardest?

I think that Habit 7 ½ (PLAY) is the easiest for me. I love to explore different technologies and websites and how they are put together. I try to play with different sites and try to find out how they put it together and try to create a site of my own.
The hardest for me will be Habit 1 (BEGIN WITH THE END IN MIND). I try to set goal but don’t follow through with them. I try but don’t succeed and end up in another direction from where I started. I will have to work hard to achieve this habit.
